Even after his padyaathras and loud announcements, TDP head Chandrababu Naidu seems to be of the impression that only an alliance with BJP can cushion him with Modi mania against Jagan. But now even with Jagan back from jail, one factor seems to be giving Naidu a big hope of win in Seemandhra.
There are reports that with exception of Botsa and Chiranjeevi, a huge contingent of Congress MLA’s and leaders are planning to make a jump into TDP anytime when Sonia will pull the final plug on Telangana. This has been in the rounds since quite a while and it is only a matter of time before this will happen.
Though some Kapus are siding with Jagan, still a huge part of Kapu electorate is still keen to associate with the TDP and Babu believes that the party will gain the glory of its cadre back to pre-2008 levels because only after 2008 did the Kapu cadres start migrating to PRP and then to Congress!
