A 2011 batch IPS officer named Annamalai based out of Karnataka has resigned his job and the most dynamic and young officer's resignation has come across as a shocker for the higher officials and bureaucrats in the political circle.
Annamalai is well known as a powerful and dedicated, passionate cop who was hailed as the Singam of Karnataka police and had been a DCP. It has been no confirmed by Roopa IPS that Annamalai is next planning to venture out into politics. She said that she had spoken to Annamalai who gave his resignation and said he's entering politics.
