Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS jagan Mohan Reddy has hiked the salaries of Asha workers in the state from Rs.3000 to Rs.10000. He has hiked the salary by Rs.7000. jagan Mohan Reddy took the decision in a review meeting with the health department at his office. He also ordered the revamp of 108 and 104 ambulance services.
He also renamed the healthcare program of 'Arogyasri' to 'YSR Arogyasri'. He further said he would supervise the performance of the department directly.
CM jagan Mohan also looked for the vacancies, financial requirements in the sector. He also ordered the officials to take some strict action with respect to low-quality medicines.
