Reportedly Ravi Prakash’s lawyer abhishek manu Singhvi urged the Supreme Court on Monday to decide on his client’s anticipatory bail petition which the High Court had rejected in the past to admit. Perhaps the apex court passed the orders to the High Court in this context. Meanwhile, it also directed Ravi Prakash to appear before the investigating agencies as per Section 41 A of the Indian Penal Code to aid the ongoing investigation.

Furthermore it also instructed the Telangana Police to serve notices to Ravi Prakash at least 48 hours in advance if it decides to arrest him. Moreover Ravi Prakash, who is accused of forgery and duping the new management of TV9, has been eluding the investigation agencies’ radar by not appearing before them to aid the investigation. The Telangana Police has already served notices to him twice ordering him to come for the investigation and the whereabouts of Ravi Prakash is not known.
