TDP national president and former CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu have written a letter to Chief Minister YS jagan Mohan Reddy. Through the letter, the TDP supremo said, as you are aware, the Praja Vedika is being used as the facility for conducting various meetings and meeting the visitors, by declaring it as CM residence annexe.

YSR Congress National General Secretary Vijaya Sai Reddy threw a strong punch at Naidu. "I thought your first letter to the Chief Minister will be about some issue related to the farmers but as always you are focused only about your benefits and comforts. No wonder people have confined you to your home," Vijaya Sai Reddy ridiculed.

Praja Vedhika was constructed in violation of the River Conservation Act and other environmental laws during Chandrababu's tenure and now asking permission for the residence annexe to be used for the official purpose has led to widespread criticism in the official circles. Interestingly the letter comes even as the former chief minister has not yet been formally declared as the Leader of Opposition.
