IT Grids (india) Pvt Ltd directors Dakavaram ashok and his wife Srilakshmi seeking anticipatory bail in the two FIRs booked against them by Telangana Police in the alleged data leak case have been granted bail by the High Court with conditions. The court ordered ashok to appear before police for investigation once a week.

Seva Mitra is the app developed by IT Grids firm at the behest of TDP leaders. The app was developed as a tool for TDP activists to reach out to voters and for various co-ordination jobs. However, the allegations are that the firm secured the data of crores of Andhra Pradesh voters, including their voting preferences, Aadhaar, and address among other details.

The details of the voters of Telangana too were found in the possession of the firm after the Telangana police raided its office on receiving a complaint by Thummala Lokeswara Reddy. If at all Dakavaram ashok opens his mouth and reveals the facts in the Police Investigation, the TDP High Command will be in trouble.
