Amaravathi sources stated that YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) senior leader and party General Secretary Sajjala ramakrishna Reddy has been appointed as the Advisor (Public Affairs) to the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS jagan Mohan Reddy. Meanwhile he has been assigned the status of Cabinet Minister and a GO to this effect was issued by the R P Sisodia, Chief Secretary, General Administration (Political) department on Tuesday.
Furthermore Sajjala who has been a longstanding member of the YSRCP since its inception has worked hard for the party's growth. Apparently a soft spoken person, he has worked in different capacities in the party, including that of a General Secretary, State Chief Secretary, leader and key political strategist. Further his knowledge in politics, coupled with vast experience in journalism has been of great support contributed towards the party's astounding success in the recently concluded elections.
Sajjala ramakrishna Reddy started his career as a journalist in Eenadu paper in 1978 . He also worked in several papers like Andhra Bhumi, Udayam and slowly worked up the ladder and he has also worked in various fields of advertisement, public relations and pharmaceuticals. Moreover after late Dr YSR's demise, when YS jagan resigned from the Congress Party and founded the YSRCP, YS jagan appointed Sajjala ramakrishna as his Political advisor, which he continued until date.
