Andhra Pradesh Former Chief Minister and TDP President Chandrababu Naidu is in a vacation but things are not going well for his party back home. On Thursday, TDP MPs TG venkatesh, YS Chowdary, GM Rao and CM Ramesh announced that they were joining the BJP. They also met Rajya Sabha chairman Venkaiah Naidu and informed him that they were merging with BJP.

In their letter to Venkaiah Naidu, the TDP MPs wrote that they were "inspired and encouraged by the impeccable leadership of Narendra modi". Presently, the TDP has six MPs in the Rajya Sabha and four of them have already announced that they are joining the BJP. Kanakamedala Ravindra and Thota Sita Mahalakshmi are left in the party now.

The Cycle Party is reduced to just 23 MLA and 3 MP seats in the recent elections. With this defeat of the party which is considered as the worst performance of TDP, leaders are not confident of a comeback. Further, they are being pressurized by cases of Central Agencies like CBI and Enforcement Directorate.
