Previously this month, Chief Minister YS jagan extended a helping hand to a cancer patient by assuring to bear the cost of the medical treatment. Meanwhile the patient's plight came to the notice of the Chief Minister while he was returning from his visit to Sharadha Peetam in Vishakapatnam on June 4th. Furthermore a young man and a woman held up a placard which read “please save our friend who is suffering from blood cancer”.

Apparently noticing the placard, YS jagan immediately alerted the officials to stop the convoy and approached the duo, further listening to their troubles. Further after informing that their friend Neeraj Kumar required a surgery which is to take place by the end of this month, they mentioned that the treatment would cost Rs 25 lakh.



Moreover the Chief Minister immediately directed District Collector Katamaneni bhaskar to make arrangements for treatment at the earliest and ensure that all the needs of the patient were catered to.
