Sources from Hindupur made a statement that TDP MLA, Telugu actor Nandamuri balakrishna's close relative and senior leader from Pamarru, Potluri krishna Babu bade goodbye to the Telugu Desam and joined the BJP along with his wife on Tuesday. Meanwhile as per report the BJP's Mahila Morcha president, former Union Minister and balakrishna's sister, Daggubati Purandeswari welcomed krishna Babu and wife into the saffron party. Furthermore this development comes close on the heels of former TDP MLA ambika Krishna joining the BJP.
Previously it was reported that four Rajya Sabha MPs belonging to the TDP, Sujana Chowdary, CM Ramesh, TG venkatesh and Garikapati Mohan Rao joined the BJP.
Moreover it is being speculated that they were sent into the ruling party at the Centre by the TDP chief himself, since two of them, Sujana Chowdary and CM Ramesh are under investigation by CBI, ED and other central agencies. Last month a firm connected with the Sujana group came under the scanner of probe agencies for a GST fraud of Rs. 225 Crore
