Upon the orders of Chief Minister YS jagan Mohan Reddy, the officials have started the demolition of Praja Vedika a building constructed during the tenure of former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu in Andhra Pradesh's Amaravati. The building is illegal constructed violating the krishna River norms.

The demolition began on Tuesday evening with a JCB machine, six trucks, and 30 laborers. The previous government has spent 8 Crore to construct it but the officials involved in the demolition were surprised because the structure is all sheets of steel with very less concrete and cement inside.

They now suspect a massive scam in Praja Vedika as they opine that it would not cost more than One Crore for construction and the rest 7 Crore is siphoned off. Dozens of workers moved out furniture, air conditioners, and other items before launching the demolition with JCB machines. A large number of policemen were deployed in the area to maintain law and order.
