Reportedly in what can be termed as gross misuse of power, senior BJP leader Kailash Vijayvargiya's son, who is a legislator in Madhya Pradesh was caught on camera beating with a bat civic body official in Indore on Wednesday. Meanwhile akash Vijayvargiya represents Indore -3 seat. In the video, the politician can be seen thrashing the official in full public glare where media and police were present.
Furthermore Municipal corporation officers were on an anti-encroachment drive in the Ganji compound on Indore when akash and his supporters started threatening them and later thrashed the officer. He was heard saying "You should leave within five minutes or else whatever happens after that will be your responsibility”.
akash later told reporters "I told them (the officials) to leave in 10 minutes and said we couldn't tolerate it any longer. I am an elected representative. It is my responsibility to sort out the issues between the residents and the authorities. I was making every effort. But the civic body officials were indulging in dadagiri and weren't listening to the people". He added "I was very angry. I don't remember what all I did. Let's see what happens”. Moreover police said that they are registering an FIR against the legislator.
