Amaravathi sources reported that Chief Minister YS jagan will hold Praja Darbar from August 1 onwards as against the earlier announced July 1. Agriculture Minister Kurasala Kanna Babu made a statement to this effect.
When speaking to press persons, after closeted Cabinet sub-committee meet with YS jagan, here on Sunday, Kanna Babu said: "Although it is being circulated in the media that Praja Darbar will be held from July 1. But there's a clarification here that it will be from August 1." Furthermore as Assembly sessions are scheduled in July, Kanna Babu said it would not be possible to hold Praja Darbar immediately as necessary arrangements had to be made for people who come from long distances to meet and represent directly to the Chief Minister.
