The Telugu Desam Party is planning a 'Paraamarsa (console) Yatra' to party rally supporters. During the yatra, TDP President and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will visit family members of party cadres who were allegedly attacked by the ruling YSR Congress Party supporters.
The leader of the opposition will hand over a cheque of Rs 5 lakh to each family during his visit. The yatra will hopefully boost the morale of TDP workers after the party fared very poorly in the recently held elections to Lok Sabha and Andhra Pradesh assembly. Paraamarsa Yatra looks similar to jagan's Odarpu Yatra.
jagan took up Odarpu Yatra to console and help the families of who passed away after his Late Father's Chopper Accident. TDP alleges that at least six of its party men were killed while 130 injured in attacks carried out by the ruling party's workers after the announcement of election results.
