New delhi sources stated that Prime Minister Narendra modi today expressed his displeasure with Akash Vijayvargiya, the son of senior party leader Kailash Vijayvargiya, who was on camera assaulting an official with a cricket bat last week. Meanwhile at a meeting of the BJP parliamentary party, PM modi said such people should be expelled from the party without exception, "no matter whose son". BJP leader Rajiv Pratap Rudy told “The PM was very upset. He said nobody has any right to misbehave or take the party for a ride or show arrogance in public. He used a very strong statement and said that any such act is unacceptable”.
Furthermore akash Vijayvargiya a first-time BJP lawmaker had assaulted a civic official with a cricket bat in Madhya Pradesh's Indore last Wednesday. Furthermore in a video clip, the 34 year old was seen chasing the official and beating him with the bat as policemen watched. The video was widely shared on social media and was condemned by rival parties.
Moreover the official was working as part of a team removing encroachments when he was attacked by akash Vijayvargiya and his supporters. Apparently akash Vijayvargiya, who was arrested after the attack, walked out of jail on Sunday to a grand welcome from his father, other family members and supporters. vijay Shah, who was a minister in the previous BJP government in the state said "These things happen in politics.
