Controversies are not sparing Chandrababu Naidu's Undavalli Guest House. It belongs to Lingamaneni Ramesh and Chandrababu has rented it. The Government has served notices since it is an illegal structure and now YSR Congress Rajya Sabha MP vijay Sai Reddy has added a new twist to the whole controversy.
Recalling an old statement made by the TDP president on March 6, 2016, vijay Sai Reddy quoted the then Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu claiming that the residence in Undavalli was, in fact, a government guest house. Later Chandrababu spent nearly Rs 8 crore for its renovation and providing other facilities.
But then, as per the records verified by the present government, the guest house is still in the name of Lingamaneni Ramesh. If it is not Government Residence, how could Chandrababu spend Public Money on a Private Building? This may open to a new scam in the previous government and Chandrababu should be worried here.
