From the past few days, there are rumours that india’s last match in the ongoing World Cup, in all likelihood, will also be Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s last game in india colors as the Legend had decided to hang his boots. BCCI refused to comment on those reports in the middle of a crucial tournament and now Dhoni himself responded.

"I do not know when I will quit cricket. Many want me to retire even before the match with sri Lanka," Dhoni said. Dhoni has scored 223 runs in seven games at a decent strike rate of 93 plus but the numbers are deceiving as Dhoni struggled to go for the big shots in the crucial phases of the game which put pressure on the batsmen at the end.

There is widespread criticism about Dhoni hanging in there and it has prompted him to take this decision. His on-field contribution is still immense as he is still the best Wicket Keeper available for india with his extraordinary reflexes. He is also one of the best cricketing brains which help the team in making Right DRS calls.
