Close on the heels of a large haul of precious jewels and diamonds worth Rs. 10 lakh crore at Anantha Padmanabha Swamy Temple in Kerala last year, sources now say that the archaeological departments seems to have a treasure temple at an old Siva Temple in Uttar Pradesh state.

It is being said at Doundiya Kerha village in UP, there is a 180 year old temple belonging to Lord Shiva and this was built by saint Ravuram Bhaksh Singh. It is being said that 20 feet under the temple, a minimum of 1000 tonnes of gold has been buried. Efforts are on to ascertain the findings.

The archaeology team with the help of police is now excavating the site and there are chances that in another 1-2 days the treasure may be taken out. Police are leaving no chances and have surrounded the site to preserve the huge treasure which may be worth some billions.
