In Seemandhra, Kapu voters are the deciding factor in around 40 constituencies and with Chiranjeevi taking up Congress plunge, Kapu voters were believed to have shifted to the ruling party. But sources say that Kapu MLAs and political cadre of Kapu caste are now all set to shift towards another party.
Congress party's decision of bifurcating Andhra Pradesh will undoubtedly sink the party in Seemandhra region and with an impression that Chiru hasn’t brought any benefits to the community sources say Kapu MLAs are looking for alternative option.
These MLAs had their political roots in TDP initially, but later on they took plunge into Chiru's PRP and now there is some confirmation that MLAs such as Ganta Srinivasa Rao, Thota Trimurthulu, Bandaru Satyanarayana and Kothapalli Subbarayudu are all set to make a comeback to TDP.
