The annual event called Alai Bhalai organized by BJP senior leader Bandaru Dattathreya is one such platform where everyone irrespective of political parties come together and celebrate the event after Dussehra in typical Telangana style. However, this year things seem to be having a different color.
Sources say that for the first time in a decade, no one from Seemandhra turned out. At the same time some leaders belonging to Telangana organizations and including Gaddar skipped the event which has caused a lot of embarrassment. It has also shown how the people have been hurt by the political decisions.
According to reports, many leaders including those from Congress used this occasion to politely warn the host BJP leaders that with an eye on an alliance with TDP, it shouldn’t go back on Telangana at this critical time failing which BJP would be rated as the biggest betrayer of Telangana!
