Kia Motors Plant in Anantapur is the only achievement of Chandrababu Naidu in his previous term but YSR Congress has busted even that. Speaking at the Andhra Pradesh Budget sessions on Monday, Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy said Kia Motors was established only with intervention and request of the late YS Rajasekhara Reddy.
He informed the house that the Kia Motors management had written a letter to Chief Minister YS jagan Mohan Reddy about the same. It was stated in the letter that the CEO of Kia Motors had friendly ties with the late Dr. YSR and that upon his request in the year 2007, the CEO was asked to invest in the automobile sector in the erstwhile united Andhra Pradesh.
The Government also released the letter written by the Kia Motors management so that TDP can not buff over it. Kia Motors Plant is the Single Largest Investment of Andhra Pradesh after the state bifurcation. In fact, it is one of the biggest foreign investments in the entire country
