When YSR was in power, no one from the Congress party dared to talk anything against him but after his death, even those who got prosperous careers with his blessings started attacking his son Y S Jagan. This includes some of the Congress leaders from the Rayalaseema region.
Till recently they were very much vocal in their tirade against Jagan, but now sources say there is a different story in the making. They are now reportedly scared of him coming to power. As a result, it is heard that they are making a beeline for friendship with Karnataka CM Siddharamaiah.
They are sure that in case Jagan comes to power, he will definitely target his rivals hence these Rayalaseema leaders are hoping to cross the border and take shelter in Karnataka since Congress will be in power there for the next term. Political analysts are of the opinion that Jagan is more like his grandfather Y S Raja Reddy and vindictive than his father YSR who believed in ‘live and let live’.
