Andhra Pradesh High court has ordered the cancellation of bail of J Srinivasa Rao, the accused in the Kodi Kathi attack on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, YS Jaganmohan Reddy. The bail was canceled on the petition of the National Investigation Agency which said the accused can influence the case investigation.

On 25 October 2018, the accused srinivas Rao has attacked YS jagan with Kodi Kathi at Vizag airport. Regarding the case investigation, the YSRCP leaders alleged that the TDP government is misleading the case and they have filed a petition in the high court seeking NIA intervention in the case.


The joint high court on hearing the petition has decided to transfer the case to the National Investigation Agency because the attacked place (Airport) comes under the central government limits, The accused was granted bail by NIA Court in Vijayawada after spending in jail for around nine months. He will now have to go behind the bars.
