Sources from Amaravathi made a statement that YSR Congress Party leader and Rajya Sabha member V Vijayasai Reddy criticized AP Leader of the Opposition N Chandrababu Naidu for making tall claims on Amaravati , none of which materialized. Meanwhile in a post on the popular micro blogging site Twitter, Vijayasai Reddy derisively jogged Chandrababu's memory on his exaggerated statements with respect to Amaravati.
Furthermore he scoffed that Chandrababu would make Amaravathi the second capital of japan and that 15 ports would be developed with Japanese cooperation and investment.
Moreover he said Chandrababu had stated that there would be direct flights operating between Amaravati and Tokyo and that school children would also be taught Japanese. Apparently Vijayasai Reddy questioned Chandrababu's intent in making such slapdash statements and whether any of those Japanese investments ever materialized over the past five years.
