Twenty people were killed and more than 26 people were injured in a shooting at a Walmart store located in El Paso, Texas, and police have arrested a 21-year-old male suspect and he's in their custody. The gunman, as per police report was legally armed holding a firearm and he approached the store and was arrested after he carried out the attack.



It has been said that he'll be seen under hate crime and firearm charges which might get him the death penalty. The suspect has been identified as 21-year-old Patrick Crusius from Allen, Texas,  near Dallas. Ryan Mielke who is the spokesman said that 13 injured people were brought to the hospital and one of them died. Two children were transferred to the El Paso Children's Hospital. Eleven other victims ages 35 to 82 were being treated at Del Sol Medical Center.


The arrested criminal will be facing a death penalty. US Attorney said that they are treating this as a domestic terrorist case. The accused started the gunfire on a crowded Walmart and he was holding an assault-style rifle and later he surrendered as the cops surrounded the store. The attack also left 26 injured.
