Around 150 girl school students who belonged to a gurukul school in Telangana were forced to get a haircut by the principal as there isn't enough water for them to bathe in the hostel. This shocking incident happened two days ago at Medak's Tribal Girls Gurukul School and the issue came to light when the parents visited the hostel and they were shocked to see their daughters with the short hair.
The Principal named K Aruna called two barbers to the hostel and forced every girl student to do the hair cut. What's even worse is she forced every girl student to pay Rs.25 for the haircut. The parents who visited their daughters protested against this government-run institution and the principal.
The principal said she took the decision after she found that most of the girls were suffering from lice infestation and dermatological diseases and so to get better hygiene she took this drastic decision.
