According to sources Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has achieved one milestone in its Moon mission. Chandrayaan 2 has entered the Moon orbit (Lunar Orbit) yesterday morning and is on its way towards Moon. Reportedly ISRO has tweeted about its progress so far. Meanwhile ISRO estimates that Chandrayaan 2 could take another two weeks time to land on Moon and the approx date is September 7th. Furthermore this phase of entering Lunar Orbit is important for the mission as Chandrayaan 2 passes away from the Earth's gravitational force and will fall in Moon's gravity.

Meanwhile yet from here on the critical stages of the mission starts and all depends on the outer space conditions. Furthermore also, the velocity and altitude of the spacecraft play a key role in landing on Moon and if Chandrayaan 2 makes a safe landing, india will join the elite club alongside US, russia and china to have land on Moon. Previously this year israel attempted but the mission was unsuccessful and also, india has planned landing where no other country has ever attempted.

Moreover Chandrayaan 2 is the cheapest space mission which is worth about Rs 1000 crore very less when compared to the above-mentioned countries. ISRO said "The health of the spacecraft is being continuously monitored from the Mission Operations Complex (MOX) at ISRO Telemetry, Tracking and Command Network (ISTRAC) in Bengaluru with support from Indian Deep Space Network (IDSN) antennas at Byalalu, near Bengaluru. All the systems of Chandrayaan-2 are healthy".
