BJP State Leaders are being extremely critical of the State Government almost on par with the Opposition Party, TDP. YSR Congress is maintaining restraint so as to maintain good relations with the Center. Rajya Sabha MP, Vijaya Sai Reddy along with Ajeya Kallam, principal advisor to the chief minister and other officials went to Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) today
They had a meeting with Nripendra Mishra, Principal Secretary to Prime Minister Narendra modi and other officials to discuss the issues like Reviewing of PPAs and Cancellation of Polavaram Tenders, etc. Vijaya Sai Reddy also asked Nripendra Mishra to take it to the Prime Minister about the Over-action of the BJP State Leaders. He would have Prime Minister Narendra modi but the latter is in france on an official tour.
On the other side, Yellow Media had a free run projecting that the PMO called Sai Reddy and others to reprimand him for dragging the PM and amit shah into his controversial comments. The media went to the extent of saying that the PMO officials expressed their anger with Sai Reddy and sought an explanation from him.
