Congress party is very much famous for its internal democracy and sometimes this democracy reaches new heights. Here we are talking about Karimnagar MP Ponnam Prabhakar Goud and Ex-Khammam MP and current Rajya Sabha MP and Sonia’s close friend Renuka Choudhary.
While Ponnam minced no words in conveying to Congress high command that unless Congress gives Telangana, they will be finished off in the region and repeatedly exerted pressure while it is public knowledge that Renuka Choudhary, who has roots in Andhra made only a pretense that she is a Telangana bidda.
It is a public joke that most of Khammam is dominated by Seemandhra people and Renuka is no exception and there were times when Renuka had mentioned as AICC spokesperson that Telangana is not instant coffee.
But now after Telangana announcement, with Renuka trying to make friends with Telangana MP’s and she being seen quietly in their company and smiling for photos is irking Karimnagar MP Ponnam to such an extent that on every occasion Renuka calls him buffoon and joker while Ponnam stops short of physically attacking her!
