Reportedly on Monday, his first day in the US, Tamilnadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami visited a dairy farm at Buffalo. Meanwhile the Chief Minister reached New York on Monday morning and was received by a group of state ministers and members from the Tamil diaspora.
Accordingly the aim of the CM’s visit to the dairy farm was to know more about the improved breeds of cows and new technologies in processing dairy products, a precursor to the state government’s efforts to set up a livestock park in Thalaivasal, Salem. Recently the Chief Minister was in Buffalo as part of his 10 day visit to the united kingdom, USA and Dubai. His first stop after flying out from india on August 28 was the united kingdom. He visited London and signed agreements with healthcare service providers in the city.
Moreover he also visited the Emergency Operations Centre of the London Ambulance Service and its call centres to study the model of response to emergency calls, which is expected to be implemented in Tamilnadu. Perhaps Chief Minister Palaniswami also visited Suffolk to know more about the renewable energy industry and the pricing strategy that could be adopted for the sector. Hence after a short stay in the US, he will stop at Dubai for a business investors’ meet, which is being jointly organized by the Indian Embassy, the business Leaders Forum and the United Arab Emirates and is scheduled to return to india on September 10.
