The Bajrang dal had called for a state bandh in assam on Sep 6, 2019. This comes in the wake of NRC list dlisting many of the current citizens of india as foreigners. The confusion that is among the Assamese is what next? There is no possibilities of these dlisted to turn towards any of the neighboring countries neither are they allowed to continue to live as Indian in their very soil.

These comes as a part of the extreme combing that is taking place in the state of assam to weed out all the illegal immigrants fro the neighboring country that is turning out to be a threat not oly as a population exploration but also a security threat in the form of terrorist activities.

The rashtriya bajrang dal has come up with a solution saying that by intridcuing a fresh citizes register with 1951 as the cutoff instead of 1971. With these proposal bajrang dal has maintained a partial bandh on the assam state.

When government offices were suppose to be working more than necessary working hours to accept as many applications as possible, the huge gap between phases of application and also political riots and bandhs would not do any justice to the effected people, Instead it will do more damage than any help. Bajrang dal is also strongly demanding to scrape the final NRC list that was published on Aug 31st.
