Municipal Administration Minister Botsa Satyanarayana said the previous government did not even issue a gazette notification on Amaravati which shows its negligence and the temporary nature of its governance and attitude. Speaking to media here on Saturday, he said, "the Former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu government did not notify the capital city through a Gazette which is mandatory and this anomaly has left the state capital without any address and authentication".
Botsa is indirectly indicating that his Government has no legal obligation about the Capital and can change it any time. Farmers who have given lands for the Capital are in extreme distress about their future. Already the Real Estate in the Capital came to a Standstill and the rates have also plummeted.
Chandrababu Naidu, who fled hyderabad in a tearing hurry after the cash for vote case, has declared Amravati as the capital city after floating some false signals. Even without waiting for the Sivaramakrishnan Committee Report he has gone ahead with the capital city, acquiring lands left to right and center using all methods and means. This happened only after his henchmen had acquired land in the peripheries of the capital city turning it into a real estate venture, criticized the Minister once again.
