Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao added Six More to his team. Telangana Cabinet already has 12 Ministers, and with this Six, the count goes up to 18. kcr inducted Party's working president KT Rama Rao and former irrigation minister harish rao into the Cabinet. Karimnagar MLA Gangula kamalakar and Khammam MLA, Puvvada ajay were also inducted into the Cabinet. New Governor Tamilisai Soundarajan administered the oath by them a little while ago in raj Bhavan.
Interestingly, Tamilisai took oath only this morning. Telangana has no woman minister till date and to erase that bad remark, kcr decided to induct the first two woman ministers of Telangana. Former Home Minister Sabitha indra Reddy and Satyavathi Rathod were taken into the Cabinet. Sabhitha indra Reddy who defected from Congress to TRS after elected on Congress ticket is inducted.
The current Cabinet does not have any representation from Khammam district. ajay will fill the gap. Khammam is the only district which voted heavily in favour of Congress and TDP candidates way in 2018 elections. kcr did not remove any existing ministers from the cabinet.
