As per report in a welcome move, the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has found the location of the Chandrayaan 2 lander  vikram on lunar surface and the communication with it is still missing. When responding on the key development, ISRO Chairman K Sivan informed media that the ISRO got the image of vikram on the lunar surface from the Chandrayaan Orbiter. K Sivan said "We are analysing the data from the Orbiter".

Image result for Did ISRO found <a class='inner-topic-link' href='/search/topic?searchType=search&searchTerm=VIKRAM' target='_blank' title='click here to read more about VIKRAM'>vikram </a>position?

Furthermore india's Chandrayaan 2 is World's first attempt to launch satellite on Moon's south Pole. Perhaps vikram was supposed to have a safe landing on Moon's south Pole at about 1.53 AM on September 7 and the whole india and world was watching the prestigious moment. Apparently slight deviation from intended trajectory just about three minutes before the expected landing i.e 2.1 kms from Moon's surface led to have a crash landing.

Moreover the Failure Analysis Committee (FAC) of the ISRO is looking into the things and the details that led to have the loss of communication from Chandrayaan 2. But, ISRO hasn't given up its hopes on Chandrayaan 2 and is still hopeful of reviving the communication from Vikram. Hence the ISRO feels that the mission is 95 percent successful and hopeful of reviving the lost communication.
