As expected Hyderabad has become a bone of contention and once this is resolved to everyone’s satisfaction, it is being said that no one may stall AP bifurcation. But the fate of Hyderabad will seal the fate of not just Andhra Pradesh but also the lakhs of Seemandhra Telugus in the city.
Though Hyderabad under central rule may be sweet news for people of Seemandhra, nevertheless it is being said that Hyderabad’s decision may be taken keeping national interests in mind. There is a fear that a cosmopolitan city should not be subject to regional tensions.
This is especially with its strategic position in the heart of India and the presence of key industries and establishments pertaining to India’s defense, education, armed forces, missile, space and nuclear energy fields, analysts say Hyderabad under central rule is more desired for India as a whole than Seemandhras.
