Y S jagan Mohan Reddy’s uncle and suspected murderer of a YSR leader, Y S Vivekananda Reddy committed suicide. He took a large amount of sleeping pills and ended his life. The police found out the mode of suicide as they had earlier questioned him regarding the murder. He took the sleeping pills in his house in Kasunuru Village. He was rushed to the hospital but died while undertaking treatment for the consumption of sleeping pills.

He wrote a suicide note to the chief minister, that the police were harassing him in the name of investigation. His family members also alleged to the same saying that he was mentally very upset due to the police investigation which they said was to the point of harassment. The police said that they have registered the case and sent the suicide note for forensic examination.

The brother of the deceased is also a suspect in the murder case said that they had served the YSR family for 30 years. He said that they were not at all connected to the murder of Vivekanda

Reddy, but they were taken to Gujarat for narco analysis test.
