OMG; Political donations come raining whichever or whatever your color is .The fact was proved beyond doubt when the anti corruption lobby mascot Aam Admi party of Aravind Kejriwal has bagged a whopping Rs.19 crore towards its 2014 elections.
So it is a wonder how can these political parties fight corruption as they all mushroom and flourish in the garb of fighting corruption. Nearly 1300 individuals and corporate companies which did not want to divulge their names had contributed to the kitty of the Kejriwal party.Believe it or not activist Anna Hazare had had differed with Kejriwal and distanced from AAP only on count of accepting donations.
We all know that as per last survey and disclosures in 2009 the Congress party had received a donation of Rs.340 crore ,while the BJP got Rs.210 crore, even TDP had declared a Rs.75 crore donations and the left parties had received Rs.37 crore .'In all around Rs.1500 crore were given as donations to political parties for the election fund of 2009 elections ', say the analysts
