IMD has predicted heavy rains in state of Maharashtra, along with most parts of peninsular states, these rains are attributed to a cyclonic circulation brewing in north coastal Andhra Pradesh. In fact red warning has been issued to north Konkan and Madhya Maharashtra

As monsoon is in its final phase, Maharashtra and adjoining areas along with mumbai may witness extremely heavy for next couple of days. IMD in its latest forecast has predicted heavy rains in ghat areas of Maharashtra, Konkan, and goa. In south peninsular places like coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and rayalseema will get drenched with heavy rains.

mumbai, pune and few other districts will be battered with incessant rainfall activity starting from Wednesday. According to IMD a low pressure will develop on north coastal Andhra, which will intensify further, under the influence of this CC, which will move in direction of north, most parts of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, marathwada, karnataka, puduchery and kerala may see heavy rains in remaining days of the week.

Already states like Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat is facing the problem of floods, due to excess rains this year, these rains are going to worsen the situation more.
