As per report it was stated that after giving a surprise to various online ticket booking apps and websites, Telangana's Cinematography Minister Talasani srinivas has hinted a possibility that very soon the government will be coming up their own ticket portal for selling movie tickets. Meanwhile in order to stop looting movie lovers in the name of innumerable taxes and erratic pricing strategies when they buy tickets online, the TS government is said to be considering this step.

Reportedly an Rs 200 ticket is going to cost nearly 20 rupees more when purchased online because there is huge service tax and many cinema lovers have earlier expressed their concern over these extra charges. Furthermore at the same time various websites like Bookmyshow, Paytm, Easymovies and others charge as per demand and also one wonders if the tickets are really sold out or some artificial demand is being created.



Further to keep a check over this, it looks like TS government is contemplating to take a momentous initiative of launching a special website for online booking of movie tickets. Moreover the millions dollar question is that, can the government create ticket booking site match the speed, interactivity and service of platforms like book my show.
