Former TV9 CEO V Ravi Prakash, who is facing charges of forgery and diversion of funds faced another setback in Telangana High Court. The Senior Journalist was denied permission to travel aboard by the High Court on Tuesday. Ravi Prakash filed a petition to remove the conditions from the anticipatory bail.

He sought exemption from appearing before the Banjara Hills police station thrice a week and also be allowed to travel abroad. After listening to his counsel the High Court dismissed the petition. With this ruling of the High Court, Ravi Prakash is not allowed to travel outside india without seeking permission from the court.

Ravi Prakash and two others are facing allegations of forgery, funds diversion, and attempts to illegally sell TV9 logo. Cyber Crime Police have already filed cases to this effect after Alanda Media which bought a major stake in TV 9 filed a complaint with Telangana Police. The police have already retrieved the crucial emails exchanged between Ravi Prakash, CFO Murthy, actor Sivaji, and Mojo TV Chairman Harikishan. Ravi Prakash, meanwhile, is working on his next media venture.
