Industrialist Lingamaneni Ramesh who owns the Rented house of Former Chief Minister and Current Opposition Leader, Chandrababu Naidu has approached Andhra Pradesh High Court against the CRDA's notice terming the building as illegal construction. This seems to be the last attempt to save Lingamaneni Guest House. If it does not work, jagan may have his way in demolishing the building.

The judge heard the petition and posted the next hearing to Monday so that the Government can submit proofs of its claims that the building violates the existing norms. The government says the construction is within 100 meters from the krishna River which violates the River Conservation Act.

The advocate general representing the Government told the court that the government will not take any steps to demolish Naidu’s house until the case is settled. It does mean, the TDP chief can stay put in the house for some more time. If the final judgment does not come on Monday, the court is having dussehra holidays from October 3rd which means more respite. Senior advocate prakash reddy argued on behalf of Lingamaneni Ramesh.
