CPI has dropped the idea of supporting Congress candidate for Huzurnagar bye elections, instead, they are in talks with other parties to nominate their joint candidate for bye elections.

CPI  (communist party of india) state secretary has rejected the claims of his party supporting Congress candidate in Huzurnagar bye elections due to be held on October 21. In fact, the party is consulting other political outfits like Telangana Jana samithi, and TDP to nominate a joint candidate for bye elections. He said that the party would announce the candidate on Saturday and will file the nomination on September 30, last date of nomination.

He reiterated that because of absence of a MLA of his party in the state assembly, no one is questioning the anti-people agenda of current ruling government. The party would utilize the
opportunity of bye elections to question the policies of state and central governments. Other noted leaders of the party were present at the meet.

TRS has fielded S. Saidi reddy, Congress nominated N. Padmavathi reddy, Srikala reddy is front runner for saffron party ticket, who jumped from TDP to BJP recently. The bye elections are scheduled on October 21, results would be declared on October 24.
