Reports stated that last month, ten youngsters were caught travelling in the hyderabad metro ladies compartment which was intended only for women. Meanwhile all those ten have been arrested by the Rachakonda SHE teams, who are conducting operations to provide safety for women and decoy such troublemakers.
Furthermore they have been counseled over not obeying rules and handed over to Metro Rail authorities, following by imposing fines on them. Perhaps the SHE team is kept busy by metro as earlier too, 40 people including 12 minors were caught for harassing women. Apparently SHE team has been highly lauded as their sedulous efforts are showing a gradual reduction in crime against women in Telangana and last month, the team arrested a man who raped a 22-year-old lab technician.
Earlier in August, another youngster was caught red-handed for eve-teasing a 21 year old student. Perhaps the SHE team was also given recognition for arresting nearly ten teenagers while harassing high school students.
