As a part of reforming the governance to deliver services and the benefits of the welfare schemes (Navaratnalu) to the people of Andhra Pradesh, YS jagan Mohan Reddy's Village and Ward Secretariat system will start functioning from October 2. The new government has created a huge number of jobs with this move.
All arrangements have been made across the state for the new recruits to receive their appointment letters and join service. Sources say that the appointment letters will have the signature of the Chief Minister himself. The Chief Minister himself will hand over the appointment letters to employees tomorrow, at around 10.30 am at A plus Convention center in Vijayawada. The CM will fly to Tirumala to give Pattu Vastrams to Lord Balaji as per the tradition.
Despite several allegations of irregularities on the examination process, the State Government decided to go forward with the appointment. This Secretariat system along with Village Volunteers is a radical change in the system and will be a make or break for the Government. They can either bring good name or bad name for the Ruling Party.
