Hope you are a fan of the Final Destination series? If yes, then you must have watched a scene in the fifth installation of the series where a bridge collapses into water. Perhaps the scene is quite scary and sets the mood of the entire movie as something quite similar happened yesterday in Taiwan, when a bridge collapsed as an oil tanker was trying to cross it. Furthermore according to local reports because of the collapse, the truck went crashing onto the fishing boats below, injuring at least 14 people.

Reportedly, the 460 feet long Nanfang’ao Bridge collapsed at about 9.30 am in Nanfang'ao Fishing Port in Su'ao Township of Yilan county. Earlier the bridge was completed in 1998 and spanned a water body in the fishing village and the video, one can see that an entire stretch of the bridge suddenly collapses, sending huge waves into the water. Apparently the bridge was near a dock, so boats were also below it when it collapsed and even the oil tanker crashed onto a fishing boat trapping many people.

According to news agency, people are feared to have been trapped under the bridge and many have been injured. Day before the incident happened, the area was hit by Typhoon Mitag. Moreover after the video went viral online, a lot of people prayed for the victims and for everyone’s safety.
