It came as shock to ruling TRS party and chief minister kcr as state high court puts stay order on demolition process for secretariat. Meanwhile, court also asked not to issue notification for municipal elections.
Telangana high court ordered a stay order on demolition of secretariat shocking the TRS party and chief minister k. Chandrasekhar rao, the court would hear the case pertaining to demolition after Dasara holidays. With this verdict, the plan to demolish and work on secretariat would get halted, Telangana government planned to approve the report of sub committee for construction of new secretariat.
Meanwhile, the court also ordered not to issue new notification for municipal elections in hyderabad city. Reason for halting notification was to hear a filed petition for municipal elections. Though the government can complete the entire procedure for elections.
A single bench and division bench would be set up by registrar of high court from October 3 to 11 as the registrar of high court has declared vacations for high court already. These benches will hear the case in Dasara vacations.
