The senior leader of the JanaSena party Akula Satyanarayana who had contested from Rajahmundry in the recent elections from pawan Kalyan's Janasena Party lost the election. Akula who has been inactive in the party since then gave a shock to the JanaSena party president pawan kalyan by sending in his resignation letter. However, he did not mention any reason in his resignation letter.

Akula Satyanarayana has been impatient with pawan kalyan for the past few days. In the wake of Pawan's defeat in the JanaSena election, several senior leaders like Ravela kishore Babu, Chintala Parthasarathi, Raghavaiah Marisetti, sridhar Addepalli, and David King have reportedly been leaving the party. Akula is likely to join BJP very soon. He already held a series of discussions with the Saffron Party leaders.

Akula Satyanarayana was elected as MLA from Rajahmundry Urban constituency in 2014 elections on the BJP ticket. He resigned to the party before the elections and joined Janasena. Now, he is going back to his home party. Janasena had managed to open the account with just one seat in the recent elections and pawan kalyan himself lost from both the seats he contested. So, Janasena leaders are not confident about the party's future.
