SC Corporation former chairman and ex-MLC Jupudi prabhakar joined the YSR Congress (YSRC) on Tuesday. They were welcomed into the party by YSRC president and Chief Minister Y.S. jagan Mohan Reddy. Jupudi, after joining the party, said that by giving five berths in the Cabinet to Dalits, jagan showed he was committed to the political empowerment of those communities.
The overwhelming mandate to the YSR Congress in the 2019 election was proof of the confidence reposed by the people in Jagan, he stated. Interestingly, Jupudi is in YSR Congress before the 2014 elections but jumped into TDP after the Cycle Party won the elections. Chandrababu made him the SC Corporation Chairman.
He is going back to his former party after TDP losing Power. Along with Jupudi, Former MLA Akula Satyanarayana who joined the Jana Sena Party and unsuccessfully contested as its candidate from the Rajahmundry Lok Sabha constituency in the 2019 election also joined YSR Congress. jagan should introspect if he really needs such leaders who do not have any ideology and jump parties according to the wind.
