65 days of lockdown valley officials caution don’t term it ‘Normal’.

After August 5 there has been unprecedented change in the status of people in valley. Anger, resentment, and protests has been the reaction,. Though, violence has not been resorted so far.

    After central government decision to revoke article 370 and 35a in the valley is turning out to be a challenge, it could further escalate the unrest among the people of valley. So called narrative ‘everything is normal’ is no more sustainable, told the officials.

     Internet and mobile network is still down, no access to health care, connection between friends and family is down, educational institutions are shut since inception of lockdown. Tourists aren’t visiting valley, though the government decided to lift restrictions on tourists.

    Most of prominent leaders from political outfits of the valley is in detention. NC leader farooq abdullah met his party workers, though mehbooba mufti refused to meet his party cadre, this decision of government was purely politically motivated, keeping the BDC elections in the mind.

      Government’s decision to revoke article 370 and 35a in the valley is turning out to be unsustainable, situation is getting slipped as the days passes by.
