Telugu Desam Party was reduced to just 23 seats in the 175 seats Assembly of Andhra Pradesh, its worst-ever tally in history. The party managed to bag just three MP seats. Naidu will have an uphill task to face jagan Mohan Reddy in the State and narendra modi at the Center for the next five years sitting in the Opposition.

So, there are rumors that he will be arriving at a compromise with the BJP. Chandrababu's close-aides  Sujana Chowdary and CM Ramesh have joined BJP and there were rumors that they were sent by Naidu himself as a part of the compromise. For the first time, Naidu responds to the allegations in an interview.

"We differ only on one issue: the development of the state. Because Andhra Pradesh was denied special status and because of the sentiment of the people, our alliance didn’t work out. Beyond that, I did not have any problems with the BJP. Right now, my priority is to protect the rights of the people and to put Andhra Pradesh back on track," Chandrababu Naidu said hinting that there is a chance to going back to NDA. But will modi and Shah admit him back is the big question?
